I graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2014 with a BA in Psychology. While at Kwantlen, I played for the Women’s Soccer Team for five years; attending Provincial championships four times and National championships twice. I still continue to play soccer to this day, as well as many other sports recreationally. As a result of my time as an elite athlete, I have attained a good understanding of the different pressures and mental health concerns that accompany being an athlete.
I continued my education and completed a Masters of Counselling at City University of Seattle in 2019. I have received additional training in Trauma Sensitive treatments such as Mindfulness and Somatic therapy. I have also completed addictions training through UBC and have experience in working with marginalized communities that struggle with substance misuse, homelessness, and various mental health concerns.
I take an integrative approach in my practice in order to provide a client-centred and culturally inclusive environment for clients to thrive. I include aspects from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and areas of Psychoanalysis to ensure I meet the needs of each unique client.

My name’s Johnny and I became a registered massage therapist after I graduated from CDI college in March of 2023. My love of playing and watching sports has geared my treatment towards helping athletes reach the most functional version of themselves. Having experience in a variety of sports such as rugby, football, track and field and hockey gives me the knowledge and tools necessary to help a wide variety of athletes in the most efficient way possible. Throughout my athletic career, I have had various injuries, from concussions to ankle sprains to hamstring strains, so I understand the frustration of wanting to get back to health as soon as possible.
Through various treatment strategies and techniques, I will do everything in my power to make the recovery time as short as possible, while working to prevent future injury. While massage therapy is great for treating injured bodies, it is just as effective in maintaining and improving overall functionality in generally healthy bodies.

My name is Eli Wiebe, and I am a Student Intern Counsellor (SIC) currently attending Yorkville University. After graduating from the University of Victoria with a BA of Psychology in 2014, I have spent the last decade working as a municipal labourer where I have gained an intimate understanding of the mental and physical challenges associated with routine manual labour. It is within these blue-collar environments that I have shaped my therapeutic style through the lens of those who are unaware or skeptical of the value of therapy.
Much of my life has been spent in hockey rinks around the lower mainland as a member of The South Delta Minor Hockey Association, The Surrey Minor Hockey Association, The Richmond Sockeyes, and The UVIC Men’s Hockey Club. My hockey career was highlighted by winning the Cyclone Taylor Cup and Keystone Cup with the Sockeyes in 2009, and a BCIHL Championship with the Vikes in 2012. During the later stages of my hockey career, I became captivated by the mental side of the game and what internal strategies and adjustments could be implemented to optimize performance.
While I am new to the clinical counselling space, my experience within municipal work has shaped a unique perspective to meet everyday people where they are at in their therapeutic journey. In my spare time I still enjoy playing recreational league hockey, softball, and the piano.
